Jackson Bay, Haast, Westland

Jackson Bay is  50 kilometres  south from Haast and down a no exit road.

On the way you cross the beautiful Arawhata River.  Unlike some other rivers further north, this one is not glacial fed, and is a lovely aqua colour.
