Fox Glacier

Both Fox Glacier and Franz Josef Glacier have receded noticeably since the last time we were here.

Fox Glacier, from the view point at the end of the walk.  This is as close as you can get without going on a guided walk.  While we were here we saw a rock fall come down on the opposite side of the valley.  This was taken looking directly at the sun, but it really was this dirty grey colour.
