Lake Wallowa Lodge, Idaho

Lake Wallowa Lodge was built in 1923 on the shores of Lake Wallowa.  It made a delightful change from ordinary motel rooms.

These birds are very common in these parts.  I don't know what they are, but they remind me of a mynar.
