Hemiji Castle, Japan

My life has been rather hectic during the last month and I am struggling to keep up my daily posting of a new photo.  This one is "cheating" and is not actually taken by me but is one my son Luke took on his holiday in Japan earlier this year.   I'm not sure why this appeals to me so much ... maybe the manicured look of the evergreen trees, contrasting with the starkness of the deciduous trees, and of course that magnificent architecture of the castle.
