Kaweka J Trig Walk

The Kaweka J Trig walk (in the Kaweka Ranges) is supposed to be a great walk with 360 deg views from the trig.  I wish I could confirm this to be true, but we didn't make it!  Sad to say that high winds forced us to turn back before we even got to half way.  Yes, the weather was otherwise fine and warm, but it is no fun being scared you are going to get blown over and down the side of the mountain.  In spite of all this, it was great being up amongst the alpine plants and it was a great view from here where we turned back.
