Sturt's Desert Pea

The Sturt's Desert Pea is the floral emblem of South Australia, and is one of my favourite Australian flowers.  They are a low-growing bush and prefer a dry climate.  They remind me of our New Zealand Kakabeak, both being members of the pea family.
