Muriwai, Auckland

Auckland's rugged west coast beaches will always hold a special place in my heart.  They each have something which makes them special, and for Muriwai that is the gannets.  September is a month when they are returning from their overseas travels, re-uniting with their mate, building nests and laying eggs.  It was a beautiful spring day there today.
