Parker Ridge, Icefields Parkway

Parker Ridge is a hike on the Icefields Parkway and it is well worth the effort.  You are rewarded with dramatic views of the Saskatchewan Glacier which can not be seen from the highway.

Taken from the same spot, looking the other way, down the valley. We were so lucky with the weather as even though it was fine there was a real cold wind blowing.  I would hate to be here in a storm.
