Red Rocks Coastal Park, Wellington

Red Rocks Coastal Park, Wellington is where the continental plates have come together squishing up rocks.  There has also been basalt there too.  Geologists can research the precise story, this one is the Janet simplified version.  There aren't just red rocks, there are green and purple too.  

 To me this is a squished part.
