Lake Hawea, Central Otago

After driving from the West Coast over the Haast Pass we stopped at Lake Hawea for a picnic lunch.  Well that was the plan, until I tried to open the car door and just about got blown away.  Plan B was to park looking out at the lake and eat in the car.  Not quite the same but still a spectacular scene.
