Abandoned House, Makarora, Otago

When you cross the Haast Pass on Highway 6 from west to east you come over the pass and down to the little township of Makarora.  Often when I have a "Stop the car, I want to take a photo!" moment, there is nowhere safe to stop, but I was lucky in this case.  The light was catching this old abandoned house beautifully.  I like the fact that you can see straight through it and out the other side.
