Multnomah Falls, Colombia River Basin, Oregon

The Multnomah Falls are within easy driving distance of Portland, Oregon, so we had the pleasure of sharing the falls with lots of other holidaymakers.  This is actually Richard's photo, as I couldn't actually fight my way through the crowds to the front.  So I just enjoyed the experience, because they are very spectacular falls.  We did walk up and over the upper bridge, (we got quite wet from the spray when the wind blew)  but the best aspect was from down here so you can appreciate their height.
