Mt Ranier is 14,411 ft high and located 54 miles south east of Seattle. After two weeks of bad weather here, where the mountain couldn't been seen, we had two amazing days with clear blue skies and no wind.
After heavy snowfalls over winter, the snow had not melted and our three hour hike was in snow the whole time. We climbed up to Panarama Point, but in actual fact the views were amazing the whole time.

We saw several groups who were attempting the two (or three) day climb to the summit. |
