Te Ana Falls and Shine Falls

Te Ana Falls and Shine Falls are both north of Napier off State Highway 2, but are quite different.

Te Ana Falls - just a short walk from the road, and falls in one stream.  Very pretty.

Shine Falls - takes quite a bit more effort to get to, but when you see it, it's "wow!".  We have been here twice before, and once there was even a rainbow in the spray.  This time the lighting was tricky for photography, so we went  back to the picnic table to have our morning tea.  This is the scene I saw from the picnic table.
