Hoover Dam, Nevada,

Built in the early 1930's, the Hoover Dam is built on the Colorado River, which is the border between Nevada and Arizona.  Traffic on highway U.S.93 used to drive across the dam, but in 2110 the bridge you can see in the photo was completed (which bypasses the dam).  The photo is a little deceptive, these structures are HUGE!
