Lake Taupo Outlet

The start of the Waikato River, the only outlet from Lake Taupo.  The floatplane is at it's overnight mooring, but while we sat drinking a welcome cup of coffee, it was brought to the jetty ready for the day's sightseeing trips.  The sky colour is not blue but a rather ominous dark grey.
