Gardens of Fiesole, Florence

We visited the two neighbouring gardens of Villa Le Balze, created 1911-13, a hundred years ago but "new" compared to Villa Medici next door, created 1455 - 1461.  Fiesole is a small town in the hills surrounding Florence, with great views out over the city.  A selection of photos.
