Portree, Isle of Skye

Portree is the main town on the Isle of Skye and I think every available tourist bed is in use this weekend.  It is a bustling, busy little place with narrow streets and old buildings.

This is the view from outside our guesthouse.  Our room is on the third floor (no lift) and I am looking at this scene as I type this.

After dinner we walked over to the churchs above the row of houses and this is the view looking out towards mainland Scotland.
