Plockton, Lochalsh, Scotland

Just prior to crossing over the Skye Bridge we visited the small community of Plockton.  It was supposed to have a row of multi-coloured houses on the foreshore, but I guess the locals got tired of tourists blocking up their one-lane roads, as the houses are now all white.  Hmm, our guidebook is out of date.  No problem though, we found an excellent little cafe in which to shelter from the rain, and after our coffee the rain had stopped.  Surprise, surprise, a NZ cabbage tree.
