Old "coffin" bridge at Carr Bridge, Scotland

This bridge was built in 1717 after a party of mourners carrying a coffin, got swept away crossing the River Dulnain to get to the cemetery.  Today it has been deemed unsafe to walk on, and I was not going to test that out.

I haven't been able to find out if it had any railings of any sort back when it was built.  It I was a horse I don't think I would think it would be a good idea to go over this.
