Little Black Cormorant, Byron Bay, NSW

The little black cormorant is found in Australia and New Zealand, though in New Zealand it is known as the little black shag.  I love their blue eyes.  I presume this is a pair, and wonder if that is a nest they are standing beside.  I was quite some distance away, and didn't want to get any closer in case it was.  This was a couple of hundred metres away from the surf beach on an estuary and was quite secluded.
