Minyon Falls, NSW

Minyon Falls are approximately an hour's drive from Byron Bay, but that depends on what route you take.  We navigated our way there with only one wrong turn, which was pretty good, considering the lack of detail in the maps and the winding, narrow roads with no road signs.  We were glad we made it though, because they really were stunning.

The road takes you to the top of the falls.  To walk to the bottom takes 5 hours!  We gave that a miss.

View from further back.  The falls are on an ancient volcanic crater.
