Humpback Whales

These photos of humpback whales were taken when two whales "mugged" our whale watching boat.  "Mugging" is the term used when whales come right up to the boat.  The skippers have to keep a certain distance away from the whales, and are not allowed to chase them, but there is nothing to stop the whales coming right up to the boat.  We had two that kept coming back about four times.  In these photos it has not broken the surface of the water.
