Cape Bridgewater and Cape Nelson, Portland, Victoria

These two cape are close to Portland, Victoria and well worth the time exploring them.

While walking out to the Seal Colony at Cape Bridgewater, we spied these kangaroos in the distance.  They must have decided we were too far away to be a threat because they did not run away.  When we arrived at the seal colony, there was a total of two seals, but the walk along the headland on top of high sea cliffs was worthwhile anyway.

Cape Nelson - This was close to our lunchtime picnic spot, with the Cape Nelson lighthouse just out of sight round the corner.  The sea really was that colour.  The purple flowers are iceplants I think.
