Plain of Six Glaciers Hike, Lake Louise, Alberta

The Plain of Six Glaciers hike at Lake Louise is worth every ounce of energy spent getting there.  We combined it with the Lake Agnes hike and were out all day, but being this high up in the Rocky Mountains is an amazing experience.

Richard is dwarfed by the huge Victoria Glacier.  Lake Louise is behind us, and a long way back down.

Luckily our trail did not take us under the glacier face, as this avalanche occurred while we were walking up.
