Black Bear, Alaska Highway, British Columbia

This black bear crossed the highway in front of us, then ducked down out of sight.  By parking strategically off the road, we waited ....  and sure enough he came back up the side of the embankment heading towards us, approximately 25 metres away.  No, I did not get out of the car, but yes, I had my window wound down.
