Banff, Alberta

Banff is such a picturesque town in a stunning natural environment.  We have had a real mixture of weather today; fog, cloudy, two thunderstorms with hail, and then some sunshine.  We abandoned our thoughts of an alpine walk and instead visited a variety of attractions closer to town.  This photo was taken from the gardens, looking over the bridge over the Bow River and up Banff Street towards one of the many peaks which surround the town.
