Lotus Flower

This lotus flower was in a botanical garden in Townsville, Queensland.  Most of the blooms were past their best, and this one was the only one still looking good.  Unfortunately it was in the centre of the pond and I had to lean over and do contortions to get a clear shot with no obstructions.  I took one photo and decided to quit while I was ahead before I fell in!
