Hunua Falls, Auckland

I hadn't visited the Hunua Falls for years so we thought it deserved a visit last Saturday.

I have seen these frames before in Regional Parks, but this is the first time I have taken a photo through one.  (I have taken the liberty of removing a large bright orange sign stating no jumping off the falls.)

The turbulence of the waterfall normally prevents reflections, but if you look closely this reflection is not in the pond beneath the falls, but much further away in the stream.
