Australian Great Cormorant

The Australian Great Cormorant grows to 90cm and is a big bird.  This male was sunning itself and drying it's wings on rocks between Manly beach and Shell beach.   There was quite a bit of activity quite close, with snorklers, scuba divers, ocean swimmers all quite close in the water, not to mention a steady stream of walkers on the path on shore, but the cormorant just sat there.
