Muriwai, West Auckland

It was a lovely day at Muriwai last week.  I had gone there to see the gannet colony hoping to get some photos of the young ones practicing their flying before leaving for Australia some time soon.  What I hadn't factored in was the wind wasn't strong enough for the birds to be flying.  Well that's my theory, who knows if it is correct.  Nothing wrong with the scenery though.
