Lighthouse in Iceland

This lighthouse was on Iceland's northwest coast at the entrance to a fjord.  As we encountered a lot of low cloud and mist in the short time we were in Iceland, I imagine lighthouses are absolutely essential.  Most of the population lives on the coast, and fishing and boating are a mainstay of the economy.
