Jokulsarlon is a glacial lagoon formed as a glacier receeds from the edge of the Atlantic ocean with icebergs floating in it. It is also on the ring road which goes round Iceland which makes it easy to visit. We were concerned we were not going to see it at all, as there had been low cloud, but the clouds lifted just enough to see the glacier and ice-cap in the distance.

After taking the top picture I turned around and saw this sheep searching for dinner.
