Lake Mathieson, West Coast, South Island

Lake Mathieson is a little lake that can have great reflections if it is calm, and if you get in the right position, also see the mighty Mts Cook and Tasman.  We braved the sandflies and walked around in the early evening.  Unfortunately there was some cloud on the mountains, but it still a wonderful place.
