Back in Auckland this evening, after driving 5,536 kilometers in 5 weeks. What a wonderful country I live in.
Ward Beach is just south of Cape Campbell, on the northeastern tip of the South Island. When we stopped to have our morning tea I discovered my tree stump was an amazing pattern of lines and shapes. "I can't sit on that until I've photographed it." says I.
