Moonlight Trail, Queenstown

We started the Moonlight Trail at Arthurs Point and walked towards the Ben Lomond saddle/Moke Lake.  As we didn't have transport organised at the end, we got to half way, then turned around and walked back.  In four hours we saw four other walkers, but lots of different wildlife.

Bumble bee on thistle

This white-eye was very tiny and quite a long way away.

I think the designers of the helicopter got their ideas from the dragonfly.  This one was huge, approx 8 - 10 cm.

We were on a station, but I presume these goats were wild, not farmed.
