Kepler Track, Te Anau, Fiordland, New Zealand

No, we didn't walk the 3 - 4 day Kepler Track walk. we only did a couple of short day walks yesterday and today.  The weather has been very changeable, with wind and heavy rain for a couple of hours, then sunshine again.  Today's walk was mostly in the rain.

The strong winds caused Lake Te Anau to have some waves.

An interesting fungi growing on a fallen beech tree.

The mossy ground layer was just glowing in the rain.

Colourful wetlands.  (It was actually raining when this was taken.)

A South Island robin obligingly poses for his photo.
