Purnululu National Park, Western Australia

Some inhabitants of Purnululu National Park.  This snake was moving fairly quickly up the rock face.  As the temperature was heating up, my guess is that it had had it's morning "sunbathe" and was now seeking a cool refuge somewhere.  I particularly like the patterns in the rock here.

Double-barred finch - I love the blue beak.

I'm not certain what this bird is, but the finch on the left is a Long-tailed Finch.  At the camp where we stayed in the park, water was put out for the birds to drink.
