Kokako, Tiritiri Matangi

On my recent visit to Tiri tiri Matangi I was lucky enough to see a pair of kokako, that elusive and uncommon bird endemic to New Zealand.  The photos are not ideal, but they are my record of my siting.  I just love the blue wattle.
