Lake Myvatn, IceLand

Lake Myvatn is an active volcanic area, a thermal area, and also a beautiful lake.  There were too many activities here for us to do in the short time we had, (also the weather did not co-operate) but we enjoyed the ones we did.

This is a crater lake in a geothermal area.  What the photo doesn't show is the gale-force wind that made it hard to standup, let alone hold the camera still!
