Glaciers, Southern Iceland

The photos have got all out of order here, but you can get the general idea.  These are icebergs that have broken off a glacier, and are right at sea level.

Southern Iceland has one large area of permanent icefields, with many tongues of glaciers going out in all directions.  We did a hike up alongside this one.
