Twenty-six babies

I don't know what species these are, but I have never seen one adult bird with so many babies!  It was way in the middle of nowhere, and I guess there were no predators around too, because they don't look newborn.  Sorry about the quality of photo.  Our windscreen was dusty and bug-splattered, we were driving on a bumpy gravel road, and the birds were moving pretty fast too, so I was pretty lucky to get any sort of photo at all.
