Ambury Farm, Auckland

I have been out to the bird hide on a previous occasion when there was a shower coming causing quite dramatic lighting.  Last Saturday morning we had the showers but the lighting wasn't quite as good.  That's a big flock birds circling round in the distance, (not flicks of mud on my lens) in case you were wondering.
That is also yellow lichen on the black lava rocks.  I just love the contrast.
