Lots of fishing boats means lots of fish - so many different varieties, some I have never heard of before.

We visited Beer early in the day, and very few residents were out and about. It was still very appealing, with a long history based on the white chalk limestone cliffs.

It was a pebble beach, with matting put down to make walking easier. The fishing boats were pulled up onto the pebbles.

This row of houses are the oldest buildings in the town, dating back to the 1600's.

The deck chairs all out for another warm summer's day. (Weather office says to enjoy it while it lasts as cooler weather on the way.)
