Loch Lognaig, near Callander, Scotland

A beautiful quiet spot just as we were setting out for the day.  Unfortunately, when we got to the pullover beside the road to stop to take a photo, the gate was locked, not open until 8 am the sign said, (it was 8.05 am) and what's more, you were supposed to pay for parking!  To stop for a photo!

As New Zealanders, we found this hard to believe, and did manage to take a photo further on (without any illegal parking).
