Taranaki Falls, Volcanic Plateau

It was a wet day in National Park, and after a boost of caffeine at Whakapapa, we set off for the Taranaki Falls, thinking that it should have lots of water in it.  We were not wrong.  As an added bonus, it stopped raining not long after we set off.

The person up the top had gone off track to stand up there.  There is NO WAY I would have done that, not even in my younger, more daring days.
