Waimarama Beach, Napier

It was such a beautiful summer's day in Auckland today, that I just had to post a beach photo.  This was taken two weeks ago on a similar sort of day.  Waimarama Beach is south of Napier and is a beautiful sandy beach (unlike the pebbles of Napier) and unbeknown to us the Surf Lifesaving Club there was hosting a carnival, with teams from all over the southern half of the North Island.  No such thing as a quiet day at the beach here.
