Pirogues, Ile des Pins, New Caledonia

One of the popular tour options on Ile des Pins is to go on a pirogue, a traditional sailing outrigger canoe.   We thought we would take a drive out to where the pirogues were.  I think the ones used for tours must have an outboard motor as well as sails (I hope)  but there is no way I felt keen to put to sea in a pirogue like this one.
