Gumtree (eucalypt) bark

I just love the many colours and patterns of the bark of gumtrees.  One aspect that I hadn't considered before though, is that if possible property owners need to regularly clean up and dispose of all the fallen bark produced by gumtrees, to lessen the wildfire risk.  If you think about it, it is obvious that just one spark can ignite a blaze so easily with all the dry bark just lying around.
