The beautiful beaches are alternated with the rocky coastline, of which I am also a fan. I had seen a photo of cathedral rock in the pamphlet from the information centre, so we set out to find it. As is the case with some of the advertising photos in brochures, it was not at all straightforward. We drove along Cathedral Rocks Road but there was no parking area, and in fact as we found out, no access. So it was back the other way, and a walk around the rocks (lucky it was not high tide) to try and get a view which was a bit closer. I had a run-in with the owner of a large uncontrolled dog on the way back to the car, so I feel I "worked hard" for this shot.
